GOYTRE UNITED GET OFF THE MARK WITH A CONVINCING WIN

Goytre United got off the mark with a convincing win at Penrhiwceiber Rangers. With our hosts new to the division after gaining promotion last season this was billed as a banana skin. But to our credit there was only going to be one winner with the Goyt dominating from start to finish. Chance after chance was created with the Penrhiwceiber goalkeeper making numerous saves. Mark Prichard, Richard French and Chris Summers coming close on many occasions. But it was Jason Thorn who came off the bench to score the two all important goals to seal a fine win.
